Charles Garanganga

Group CEO

Charles Garanganga is the founder and Group CEO of Teleios and provides executive leadership to Yatar Rucha, bringing a proven ability to build and scale businesses across Africa and the Asia-Pacific. A commercially minded solutions thinker, he combines entrepreneurial judgement, sector insight and operational discipline to identify opportunities where capital can unlock growth, infrastructure and long-term enterprise value.

Within Yatar Rucha, Charles leads strategic direction, senior market relationships, opportunity origination and partnership development. His experience across telecommunications, smart infrastructure, digital transformation and industrial automation gives him a strong operating lens for assessing capital-intensive businesses and projects, understanding the realities behind their financing requirements, and shaping credible propositions for funders and strategic partners.

Charles works at the intersection of business owners, technical teams, investors, financial institutions and delivery partners, helping move opportunities from concept to commercially grounded transactions. His leadership is focused on building a trusted cross-border financing platform known for disciplined execution, resilient deal structures and the ability to connect viable African and Asian opportunities with the right capital.

Chipo Chipudhla

Managing Director, Business Development and Strategy

Chipo Chipudhla leads management, strategy and transaction development for Yatar Rucha, bringing more than 16 years of experience across finance, investment, business development and institutional strategy in Africa and Asia. Her background combines business management, IT, financial and audit experience. As Managing Director, Chipo has overall responsibility for the operational management of Yatar Rucha, providing day-to-day leadership and coordination across the organisation.

Within Yatar Rucha, Chipo focuses on deal origination, funder engagement, transaction development and closing support. She works with companies and project sponsors to clarify financing requirements, shape investable propositions and position transactions with banks, DFIs, investors, project financiers and other capital providers. In parallel, she supports the development of Yatar Rucha’s operating model, governance, pipeline management, staffing, systems and reporting disciplines so that transactions can be originated and progressed through a consistent institutional process.

Her cross-sector experience gives her a strong understanding of the financing gaps facing businesses and projects in African and Asian markets, particularly where commercial opportunities span various industries. Chipo brings the ability to bridge commercial logic, development impact and institutional requirements, helping Yatar Rucha build transactions that are credible to funders, practical for clients and capable of delivering sustainable economic value.

Ted de Boer

Director, Technology

Ted de Boer leads business development and deal origination for Yatar Rucha, bringing over a decade of commercial experience in the IT and telecommunications sectors. His strength lies in identifying market opportunities, building trusted relationships with clients and partners, and translating operational or technology requirements into clearly defined commercial financing needs.

Having held senior sales, product and business development roles, Ted brings a strong network and a practical understanding of how technology businesses invest, scale and procure. He serves as an important bridge among clients, technical partners and Yatar Rucha’s financial, legal and transaction teams.

Ted’s people-centred approach, product knowledge and track record of commercial growth support Yatar Rucha’s ambition to build a high-quality pipeline rather than simply a high volume of leads. His role is centred on originating credible opportunities, understanding the commercial story behind each transaction and maintaining the relationships needed to move strong prospects from initial engagement towards structuring and financial close.

Yeukai Tagwireyi

Group Head of Administration & Portfolio Management

Yeukai Tagwireyi leads Yatar Rucha’s financial management and portfolio control function, bringing strategic oversight, analytical discipline and data-driven decision support to the transaction platform. With experience across finance, administration and commercial operations, she provides the financial rigour required to assess opportunities, strengthen transaction readiness and maintain transparent management of Yatar Rucha’s operating and deal pipeline.

Her responsibilities span budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, risk monitoring, management reporting and the development of financial information used in transaction assessment. She supports deal teams in interrogating assumptions, cash flows, margins, funding requirements and financial performance, helping to ensure that opportunities presented to banks, DFIs, investors and other financiers are supported by clear and credible financial evidence.

Yeukai also strengthens the control environment around Yatar Rucha by aligning financial systems, reporting routines and portfolio monitoring with strategic objectives. Her combination of conventional financial management and emerging financial technology knowledge supports a modern, disciplined platform capable of moving quickly while maintaining the transparency, accuracy and accountability expected by financing partners.

Shamine Maphosa

Group Legal & Transaction Structuring

Shamine Maphosa provides legal and transaction-structuring support to Yatar Rucha, bringing a corporate and commercial law background directly relevant to financing, investment and cross-border business transactions. Her experience across mergers and acquisitions, share sales, contracts, banking and investment law equips her to identify legal issues early and help shape transactions that are commercially workable and legally robust.

Within Yatar Rucha, Shamine supports legal due diligence, transaction structuring, documentation coordination, corporate governance and regulatory review. She works alongside origination, finance and strategy teams to examine ownership structures, contractual obligations, security considerations, legal risks and sector-specific requirements, helping to ensure that opportunities are appropriately prepared before they are presented to or negotiated with financing partners.

Her additional knowledge of telecommunications, energy, intellectual property, data protection and cyber law is particularly valuable for technology-, infrastructure- and innovation-led transactions. By translating commercial terms into clear legal requirements and coordinating with clients, funders and external counsel, Shamine strengthens transaction readiness, reduces execution risk and supports Yatar Rucha in moving credible opportunities towards successful financial close.
